Great property, but staff has to do a better job.
The property and Infra is awesome
Staff behaviour, house keeping, service in restaurant has to improve a lot. WC was not cleaned properly when we checked in. Not worth for what we are paying. During buffet breakfast I got a plastic cover piece in the milk. I am still waiting for the french toast and bacon I ordered and remined later

Pleasant vacation with private access to a clean beach and a well maintained property
The staff were courteous, right from arrival till our departure, despite the facility being full due to a wedding ceremony. The room was well appointed and had the necessary comfort creatures. We had requested for a baby crib which was also provided. The service at the restaurant was good and prompt. Room service was good as well. Food generally tasted good, especially the local fares. Housekeeping was good and timely. Our 11 month old definitely loved the ducks & the chicken/roosters on the farm.
Some basic paraphernalia expected in a 5* hotel room were missing, including notepad, pen and the in-room dining/bar menu. It was later provided on request. Another odd event that stuck out was the fact that while the room service was prompt, no effort was made to clear the plates (I have had pleasant experiences with other ITC facilities, including my stay at ITC Grand Chola) . Hence, we'd have to go through the cumbersome task of keeping it outside the door. Given that the property is amidst nature, the birds (i'm guessing the local crows) had a feast on the leftovers. Not a pretty sight to wake to up, early in the morning. -- This after reminding the staff the clear the plates in 1 hour time -- The restaurant service was good but they seemed to mix up orders (probably too many interns). After my initial experience, i ensured i have them repeat my order before i confirm. The shack restaurant by the beach did not provide for room service. Given we had an infant with us, we didnt want to be by the windy sea side. Our loss in missing out the delectable sea food offerings. Finally, the room could be a bit more brightly lit (or have an option for a single brighter light). The balcony lights were brighter. Made it a bit difficult to read the menu/medicine strips. The Spa had very limited offerings. The room rate was slightly on the higher side, compared to similar facilities in Goa/Kerala.
