Great property, but staff has to do a better job.
The property and Infra is awesome
Staff behaviour, house keeping, service in restaurant has to improve a lot. WC was not cleaned properly when we checked in. Not worth for what we are paying. During buffet breakfast I got a plastic cover piece in the milk. I am still waiting for the french toast and bacon I ordered and remined later

What was the highlight of Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Kences Palm Beach, Mamallapuram
It is a pleasant prperty, with huge scope for improvement for senior citizens.
The ambience, food and near the airport.
The property is designed at various levels and is not very senior citizen-friendly. The entrance and Exit to different rooms/cottages are not senior citizen-friendly. There is only one grab handle in the shower region, where there could have been more, which discriminates against senior citizens. The steps at the entrance of the sea-facing cottage are very high. Two handles on either side could have solved the problem. Safety issues are paramount. I suggest that an outside Agency, such as ATCI, conduct a safety audit, recommend changes that have occurred, and obtain a Registered Certified Copy to establish an Evidence-based Certificate.

Good
The hotel is in a great spot right by the beach and surrounded by lots of greenery. The staff were really nice and friendly, especially with our pet—they made us all feel welcome.
The hotel room was small and looked quite old, giving the impression that it hadn't been well maintained. In room dining service was disappointing, with long waits for food.
